Four good reasons for choosing wool for your uniform
C.C.FIFTY-FIVE (CC55) corporate wear uses the unique qualities of wool and combines the wool with the great durability and machine washability of synthetic fibres. The result is perfect for work use – and the good qualities of wool are maintained:
- Wool is insulating and maintains a comfortable temperature
- Wool is dimensionally stable and therefore maintains the same fit
- Wool maintains its warm colour and beautiful shine
- Wool is dirt-repelling and naturally self-cleaning
Three good reasons for choosing cotton for your uniform
Cotton is a very comfortable and therefore highly appreciated material within profile clothing as well as uniforms. Combined with the high elasticity and shape retention of synthetic fibres, it is an amazing material for your corporate wear:
- Cotton is soft and comfortable
- Cotton is durable
- Cotton is easy to wash
The secret behind the good quality
Before any knitwear gets through the eye of the needle at our company, it has to go through a multitude of quality assuring tests. Only the products that achieve the highest grades in all tests end up in the consumer’s wardrobe.
It is one thing to create perfect knitwear the first time, but quite another to achieve the same great results in the same product year after year.
Every day, a team of dedicated specialists who have a passion for knitwear make sure that Clipper always maintains the same high quality and fine craftsmanship.
Woolmark – your guarantee for quality and fibre content
The Woolmark and Woolblendmark logos are your guarantee that we as a manufacturer comply with strict quality requirements. The majority of C.C.FIFTY-FIVE (CC55) wool corporate wear has the Woolmark or Woolblendmark logo.
Furthermore, we also have a Workwear license to manufacture products of the functional Sportwool material.
2+2 = 5
How to make your knitted sweater last longer
Do you sometimes get complaints that a knitted sweater will fuzz (or pill in technical terminology)? Unfortunately, this is quite normal when working with natural materials such as wool. But you can do something to avoid this!
Be preventative, making 2+2 = 5
It is good for wool to rest 24 hours after use, so the wool fibres have time to regain their natural elasticity and shape. Therefore, if you wear a knitted sweater every day, you need two to alternate between. This way, two and two equals five... Or in practice; 1+1 sweater = the durability of 3 sweaters.
When the damage is done
Has your knitted sweater already become fuzzy? Don’t worry – you can still save it. You can easily remove pilling with a textile shaver! And luckily, pilling is reduced over time, as the loose wool fibres work their way out of the fabric.
